Wow! This was one for the books. Tanya and Gerry got married at The Admiral's House and it was incredible. This is a new venue in Magnolia overlooking the water. Tanya are Gerry were awesome. They were so fun and such a joy to work with the whole time. They put so much love into making their wedding wonderful for every one of their guests and it was so obvious. Jamie and Steve of Sinclair and Moore designed the wedding and it was breathtaking. I especially appreciated the 90's-2000's throwbacks and the doughnuts and piroshkis :) I'm a sucker for the late night treats. The corn ravioli was delicious. I even got to meet two of my all time favorite wedding photographers, Erich and Amy Mcvey. They were as nice as they are talented. Shop Spruce did the amazing monogram that you see in the prints as well as their invitation suite. Tanya and Gerry really picked a top notch team and were so sweet and grateful all night. It was amazing.
Katie and Garth got married at Januik Winery in Woodinville, WA. They had a ceremony unlike anything I'd ever seen before. It consisted of a beautiful moment of silence, an incredible musical duet by Garth and his dad and a hilarious reenactment of their first emails to each other by their best friends. The food was to die for and the space was simply gorgeous. The whole wedding had a wonderful artsy vibe and all of their friends and family were fantastic. Fun Fact: The groomsmen (#pigpack) took a 6 day road trip with a giant roasted pig all the way from San Francisco up to the wedding.
Jenny and Brandon had the most beautiful backyard wedding in Port Orchard. I just hate it when I find a perfect venue only to find out that it's a private property. Good thing I made friends with the owner :) But in all seriousness, these two poured their hearts into every part of their wedding with hundreds of feet of handmade bunting, a beautiful wooden ceremony backdrop and even an anniversary piñata! That was a first for me. They had their guests write letters to them for their one year anniversary. Jenny's sister even designed the cute tree overlay on their prints. They were such a blast. Between their epic first dance, literally having a cake fight and their love for making ugly faces; I was laughing the whole night. Thank you again Jenny and Brandon for including me in your big day!
John and Jimin got married at Swan's Trail Farms in Snohomish, WA. They were both so wonderful and had family flying in from all over the world. I loved working with them. Their love for one another and each others families was amazing to see and they were so appreciative and sweet. Their wedding had a vintage rustic vibe and they included so many little details that made the day even more special (the cutest s'mores favors, a fire pit to toast marshmallows and so many cute signs. Their colors were yellow and grey with pops of orange and coral. Jimin and I got to work together to figure out the best backdrop for their colors and theme. She found this cute bunting on Etsy (link below). This look took 4 rows of bunting. The vendors were all amazing. The bartenders from the venue and I had behind the scenes dance party to the rad songs that the DJ was spinning. Their photographers were great and videographers were so cool and even flew their camera up above to get some aerial shots! Congratulations John and Jimin!
Lauren and Ian got married at the Palace Ballroom in Seattle. For those of you who don't know, it's owned by Tom Douglas and the food was incredible and the staff was even better. If you get married here, they'll take good care of you. From day one, Lauren had my heart. She was so cheerful, kind and appreciative. I actually got to sit through their ceremony and I cried like a baby. It was tender and beautiful and their love for each other was so strong and pure. She also brought some awesome props (notable mentions: flamingo hat, Canadian flag and pineapple sunglasses) Every vendor they chose was amazing. Check them all out below. Congratulations you cuties. Enjoy your beautiful life together!
Kacie and Matt had a beautiful reception at The Great Hall at Green Lake. They had a classic black and white movie theme, chocolate dipped strawberries (I may have wandered over to that table a few times!) and cajun food from Jemil's Big Easy. I even got to meet chef Jemil himself and got him to take a picture. They are so cute together and it was such a pleasure getting to hang out with them and their wonderful families. Congrats you two!
