I loved getting to be a part of Surina's big day. She decided on a custom backdrop and we had a lot of fun picking something out that was vibrant and colorful and reflected her Punjabi culture. I loved making props for her as well. Surina is on top if her social media game and had been using their wedding hashtag for months and I surprised her with a prop with their hashtag on it. #MrMrsStatis
I had so much fun getting the everything ready for Jenny and Timmy's wedding at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle, WA. As an artist, my fingers tingle when I get to make custom backdrops. I love all of it, the vision, the brainstorming, the crafting and seeing the final product. Jenny was awesome. She made me a Pinterest board to show me the types of backdrops she was drawn to and decided on a ribbon backdrop that was cream and green with pops of purple and plum and metallic. She even designed their monogram at the bottom. I love when my clients have a vision but also flexible at the same time. Here's what we came up with.
I had such a blast with the photo booth down at McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove, OR. Amanda and Patrick pulled off a gorgeous wedding with the help of their very talented friends. Seriously, who has friends that are florists, photographers, DJs, and MC's? I fell in LOVE with this amazing backdrop. Patrick works in construction and found this beautiful old greenhouse door leftover on a job site and they refinished it and used it for both their ceremony backdrop and later the photo booth backdrop. I can't get over the custom floral design on the door by their fabulous friend Heather.
This was such a beautiful summer wedding at Roche Harbor Resort styled by the amazing Sinclair and Moore. Lauren and Tim were such a cute couple and their wedding was perfect. I got to make a custom scalloped photo booth backdrop for the day. The custom logo at the bottom of the prints was by Sally from La Happy calligraphy in Seattle. Here are some favorites from the night:
